EPA 4-Hour / EPA 8-Hour

This 1-day (8-hour) Lead Renovator course was developed by the EPA, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to train renovation, repair, and painting contractors how to work safely in housing with lead-based paint and comply with EPA’s Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule, and HUD’s Lead Safe Housing Rule.

10 Hour SST

Local law 196 of 2017 introduced new training requirements for construction workers and supervisors. Workers must complete a total of 40 hours of training to qualify for a Site Safety Training (SST) Card. The most convenient way for a worker to receive a combined 40 hours of training is to complete a 30 Hour OSHA training program, an 8-Hour Fall Prevention Course, and a 2-Hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness Course.

OSHA-30

The 30-hour training program is intended to provide workers with some safety responsibility a greater depth and variety of training. All outreach training is intended to cover an overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention.

What is an SST Card ?

A Site Safety Training (SST) Card is a card that is issued by a Department of Buildings (DOB) approved course provider to those who have completed a required amount of training.

The NYC DOB Training Connect Site Safety Training Card combines all your SST ID card information on one card and is the only SST ID card the NYC Department of Buildings will accept as valid proof of worker site safety training.

Do you provide SST Card renewals ?

Yes !

Effective February 1, 2023, Construction Sites Requiring DOB-Licensed Safety Professionals Will Only Accept NYC DOB Training Connect Site Safety Training Cards.

40-Hour Worker SST Card – $50.00

62-Hour SST Supervisor Card: $75.00
